As a non-binary and queer cinephile from Indiana, Emma was starved for LGBTQ+ stories - that didn't end in tragedy - on the big screen. With their degree in Film & TV Production from Loyola Marymount University, EMMA crafts LGBTQ+ narratives that use comedy as activism and laughter to disrupt the heteronormative. Stories that are campy yet elevated, accessible yet unabashedly queer. Their directorial debut, a genre-bending queer comedy, ADMIT ONE, was selected for eight film festivals and has distribution with Film Movement.
